Representatives writing fraudulent accounts

In mid January and Allstate agent called me to discuss their mile-wise program. In order to get an accurate quote I had to give him my driver's license number name address and phone number he proceeded to help himself to my bank account and remove the first month's premium when I had not even signed any documents agreeing to the policy.

He set the policies effective date for February 14th one month later so he would have plenty of time to collect his Commission. I spent 30 days trying to get my money back in my bank account that he fraudulently took. In the meantime I was mailed a mile-wise device which I did not request and sent it back 3 weeks ago and I am receiving harassing emails every day about returning this device which has actually been received by them but they are too lazy to stop the emails. There is no one at Allstate willing to take responsibility for the agent or for trying to help me solve this issue.

I have kept every email, every text every person's name I have talked to at Allstate and here it is months later and I'm still being harassed. They will not give you a phone number to call and file a complaint against Allstate but if anybody takes the time to just read the reviews they'll find out that Allstate is the number one worst insurance company for car insurance. They take advantage of senior citizens and all they care about is how much money and personal information they can get from you because they turn around and sell every bit of it. I have received no less than 15 offers from other insurance companies saying they can do better than what Allstate offered me.

How do they even know what Allstate offered me unless Allstate is selling that information? If you have a choice pick any other company but allstate!

Horrible experience trying to get my refund

THESE GUYS ARE THE WORST!!!, part of their service is that when you buy a home fire policy, they get your Texas Wind Storm Insurance since TWIA does not deal with home owners, they deal with insurance agencies only. This people from the Cole Group (AllState) did not pay any attention to the messages from my mortgage company where they were telling them over and over, that the Windstorm policy was expiring.

The policy expired and I did not have coverage for a few weeks, I got hit with a $132 penalty from my mortgage company for the lapse of coverage.

The guy in charge has got the guts to blame the lack of coverage on me, he has no shame in doing things like this to a customer. BE CAREFUL and do not make the same mistake we made, I will not recommend this agency not even to my worst enemy.

Overcharge

Upon updating the info from my new payment card, I was charged an annual fee instead of my monthly fee. I was told that it will be a month before I see a refund to my account?!

Cancelling policies after 40 plus years because of extremely poor service

I need to explain issues to a customer service representative. I have three policies in Florida and one in California, with three automobiles.

The Florida agency or corporate has been sending me notices for payment on my Mile Wise account to the wrong email, after the auto payment was not received due to my credit card not being updated. I never received an email or a telephone call from the agency.

Locked key in car

I locked my keys in my car. I called roadside assistance and they texted me a link, which was very easy to navigate through.

I just let them know that I had locked my keys in my car and provided my location, the year, make, model and color of my car.

They arrived in 20 minutes and took 60 seconds to open my car! The service was fast and great, and I couldn't be happier!

Continuous mistakes, no accountability or repercussion for their faults, terrible customer service. Failure to communicate, apply necessary changes, updates, dishonest, misleading, and unprofessional.

It seems like hes only interested in collecting money and receiving his commission. Refunds, reinstatement, reunderwriting, amending wrongs and compensation of errors, and/or and at least create a new policy for the inconvenience, and solution that is reasonable for them and for consumers is NOT an option.

Drive wise should have been explain at the beginning of the policy when it was wrote it leads people to believe they will get a discount on their insurance every month for using driveway written in return is only at the end of every six months they should be explained fully to customers when they first sign up with Allstate

Spoke to an individual in the claims department that was rude and condescending. After which she hung up on me.

My solution to these kind of persons in any job. If you don't like your job quit and give the opportunity to someone is who maybe compatable with this type of job.

Lienholder Letdown

Lienholders need direct access to an Allstate person/direct email for assistance. Without loans disbursed, there would be no need for insurance.

I bought a bed from Wayfair and paid for my Allstate protection plan. A few weeks after, my home and belongings were destroyed by Hurricane Milton.

I tried to get the bed replaced. They sent me an email stating that I would need to send before/after photos, serial numbers, etc. But who takes before photos of a bed? Who climbs through a destroyed home to take photos and retrieve serial numbers along with other demands?

The bed only cost $160 and I paid an extra $30 for an insurance plan that won't compensate me. They have all the details. It's just another way to avoid payment obligations. I lost everything and can't even get a bed replaced?

I will never purchase a plan again and I plan on telling as many people as I possibly can that Allstate lacks compassion for the customers who give them their hard-earned money.

Losing everything is heartbreaking enough, but having to jump through bureaucratic hoops is downright evil. I hope all involved receive exactly the karma they deserve.

Denial of Legitimate Homeowner Damage Claim

A washer malfunction and leak caused severe mold throughout the basement. I feel that a calculated attempt to outright deny my claim for policy benefits was evident.

After a 5-minute visit, the Allstate adjuster denied the claim stating long-term damage and that the floor was rotted, both statements untrue. I do not feel that a fair assessment of my home was made.

The false reporting of a rotted floor and manipulation resulted in the denial of a valid claim with ignored messages, no return calls and zero customer service from Allstate homeowner claim dept. in an attempt to reopen the claim.

User's recommendation: Do not be swayed by lower initial premium to get your business, do not switch! Allstate will deny, ignore and dodge paying homeowner claims.
