The worst! You are NOT in good hands with Allstate.
The worst car insurance company for sure. So unethical, unfair, and dishonest. They play so many games. Low ball estimates to pay less for damages.
They make so many errors with your name, emails, links, putting errors on the estimate, they are a mess and so nonresponsive. Just so many games. Very dehumanizing with them. Not sure how they are allowed to operate as a business in this country.
They have to be the most dishonest company I have ever seen. Then their virtual assist app does not work, so you cannot get a fair estimate of damage. Their reviews on Google play for their app are horrible, it does not work. They give you so much run around.
I would never use them or recommend them. I had damage done to my car by their policy holder and it has been a nightmare dealing with them. You are not in good hands with Allstate. Beware of this company.
I saw all the bad reviews, thousands on BBB, Consumer Affairs, Smart Consumer, Yelp, Google, here and so many, they have the worst reviews. They need our prayers. It is like dancing with the devil dealing with them. Just absolutely terrible!

Even the Google Play store they have so hundreds of bad reviews for their virtual assistant app which does not work. It is all games with this company.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with settlement agreement. I settled for what we could all live with. If you ever use this company to insure your life with better beware if you do not have patience and have negotiating skills.

I called them, and they don't know a Jesse, so now they want to talk about the age of my items.

I was browsing the Internet were I found an advertisement for car insurance stateing that individuals that receive snap benefits (food stamps) are eligible for discounts on there auto insurance. I called the number given and was greeted by an Allstate insurance agent.
When I asked him about the snap benefits discount he had no idea what I was talking about. I tried three more times with the same results. Each time the agents were very persistent trying to sell me insurance. This is just a trick to get people to call them with false hopes of getting a discount because there on food stamps.
That's pretty low iñ my opinion.
Are they that desperate that they have to trick low income people into getting insurance from them? Crazy and I am extremely pissed off

I have replacement cost Homeowner coverage. My Roof received
extreme wind damage, resulting in a total loss, according to the construction estimators.
I followed Allstate's instructions, got my roof repaired, and paid $21,000.
Now, Allstate pays 5K, and no matter how many photographs and estimates they ask for over this past year, they keep asking for more pictures and respond with their claims adjuster's original estimate of 5k. Their business model is to "accept a little or sue us." Knowing that many people will just take it.

I was calling up about a claim and to get my video from my dashboard camera that I had an accident in 1 year I have not seen it. They have not given it to me.

I closed my Allstate accounts last April at the end of my contract term because of rate increases after 13 years. My accounts were paid in full.
Allstate tried to renew the accounts without my consent and sent them to collections. I did not know any of this until I received a credit alert, 6 months after I closed my account. I checked my credit and saw that I had a 55-point drop in my credit score.
I called the collection company and found out that the collection is for Allstate. I called my ex-Allstate agency and was told I did not properly close my account, and I was being billed a partial month.

Absolutely nothing no one answered my call. You are real good at getting your payment, but not customer service!
They have refused service for a pedestrian accident sayingi 'we have nothing to do with this insured both corporate Chicagp where he resides and Virginia where the accident occured
I was struck as a pedestrian 3 times as DEFENDANT backed up! Crazy he was not cited.
He told me he was pulling up as requested away from my handicap space. He was blocking my exit but instead backed up after speaking to me. He was warned, had full knowledge if my presence, an admission, and the video doesn't have to show me pounding as it happened. He admitted he talked to me putting himself at the scene.
This is illegal in Virginia. I had a placard. They have doctored the strike!!: one video clearly showed a hard strike shaking my body which was cut off or spliced at that point. The other shows a rapid backing.
Neither shows ambulance or fire department. Neither shows the way I was treated by police. Neither video shows me slumped over or banging on the offending suv! It looks rerecorded!!!
Why did they cut out police yelling at me, "you're making a lot of demands!!!" I asked for an ambulance return but it was refused! They held me against my will! I was begging to leave with severe chestbpain for the hospital!!! Even worse they were mocking me and laughing???
12/27/23 I am incapacitated and even worse they withheld overhead street camera footage!!!

This Agent Shane handled our account. We were paid through Oct.
With another insurance company and I told him Don't not Start our new insurance until Oct. I told him twice and he said okay! We applied in August for insurance at Allstate. He did not comply to my request and went ahead and put it through to the mortgage company so now he has us over a $1000 short in our escrow and our house payment went up $100 a month.
We are on a fixed income!
We are highly pissed! We even got a letter saying it was not due until October!!!

Allstate insurance refuses to pay claim. one of their insured hit my son in my pick up.
The Highway Patrol came and determined that person was 100% at fault. But the insurance company said they do not go by what the law enforcement report said. They said he failed to do 'evasive maneuvers'.
They hit son. The high patrol says they are at fault.
Yet they refuse to pay.
'You are in good hands with Allstate'. DON'T BELIEVE IT!

Home damage
We lost power during the great Texas freeze of 2021 for three days. When things started to thaw we had three pipes burst.
Every room in the house flooded and the kitchen ceiling caved in. The damage to our home was catastrophic. An adjuster came out and low balled us with $19K for all the repairs. That wouldn't even cover the flooring.
During this process we had to move into a hotel. Our adjuster yelled at us, hung up on us and called us liars. We took our case to the appraisal process whereby Allstate gets their own outside appraiser as do we. They come together to assess the damage and agree upon an amount Allstate must pay us.
It is binding.
We ended up getting $146K to repair our home. In total we were in a hotel for over a year before everything was repaired.

Allstate: Where 'you're in good hands' means 'you're in bad hands for as long as you're covered by Allstate.' My wind damage claim was a *** of an adventure - of delays, lack of transparency, and shifty adjusters. One star for the bad hands boys at Allstate. I wouldn't let this company cover my dog, Rex.
